Hey guys. Welcome back to my channel. Today I am doing this daytime to night time makeup look and I am so excited to show you guys the new Deck of Scarlet palette which has everything in there. Everything you need, they have in there. It is a new subscription. Every two months you get a new palette. And it’s cruelty-free, paraben-free, and it runs for 29.95, free shipping. Ah, free shipping. Yes, I know, that’s awesome.
I want to show you guys my palette. I am actually the artist in chief for Deck of Scarlet, which is amazing. Which is awesome. I’m super excited to show you guys. So, the first thing is this. You get a card. I’ll show you guys. It says… It says, “Hi gorgeous darlings. I’m Evon and I’m so excited to be Deck of Scarlet’s artist in chief for this palette. I chose some flirty shades that are super wearable and I can’t wait for you to rock them. Rock.” So, this is what it comes in. The palette. The lip liner and eye liner. I actually have a discount code for you guys to save up some money. It is Evon10. So, I’m going to go ahead and swatch some colors on my arm so you can see them and see how nice and pigmented they are.
So, we’re going to go ahead and pull the palette out and show you guys the inside. So, there is a two lip product. It’s called Almond and the other one’s called Coral Kisses. I had so much fun coming up with these names for the shades.
And then we have Sandstorm, which is a nice bronzing contour shale. Then we have Halo, a nice highlighter. And then we have three eye shadows. Fudge because I love Fudge. I love me some chocolate fudge brownies. And then we have Sunshine and Mermaid. I decided to show you guys some swatches on my arm. The bronzer, highlighter, shadows and the lip creams. And this is what they look like. Very nice and pigmented.
And then we have two liners. One of them is a lip liner and the second one is an eyeliner. So the first one is called Cake Pop. I just love that name. Cake Pop. So, yeah, it’s a nice taupe-y shade. And then we have chameleon, which, this you can use for your eyes. And I’m just doing some swatches for you guys so you can see what they look like. Now that you’ve checked out the palette, I’m going to go ahead and show you guys how to create daytime to night time look. Let’s get started.
I already have my foundation and concealer on, so we’re going to go ahead and start on the eyes. I’m using the shade, Fudge, and I’m applying that all over my crease area. Just like so. I picked up just a little bit for now. I don’t want really go heavy since we’re doing a daytime look. I don’t want anything too, too popping and dramatic.
Alright and then I’m going to go ahead and take Sunshine today. The sun is actually shining out today. It’s really nice. But, yeah, applying a little bit of, you know, this coral orange beautiful sunshine pop of color on the lids. Again, I’m going very lightly on the lids. I don’t want it to be too bright. I don’t want to be walking around all orange and stuff. People are going to be, like, “Oh my gosh, she really loves the sun. She loves oranges, or something.” But, yeah, keeping it light and subtle and simple.
And now I picked up the Fudge shade and we’re going to go just a little bit more darker on the crease and I’m using a much more thinner brush. A pointed brush. And just really going in the crease area.
And, yes, I am wearing lash extensions. I actually took out the previous ones and did this one myself. So this will just last a week and my lashes did fall out, guys. A lot. Anyways, I am using the Fudge shade this time in the bottom lash line. And then, after that, I’m going to go ahead and grab a thinner brush and kind of wink out the Fudge shade just a little bit. Just a teeny bit. And then applying it on the lash line as well.
And I cannot forget about my inner corners, darkening up that area as well. I want my lashes just a little bit more darker so just applying a little bit of mascara.
Moving on to the face, I’m using Sandstorm to go ahead and bronze up my skin a little bit. Again, I’m applying very little. Very subtle. No harsh contouring. I don’t really do that anywhere that much. I just stay away from it, unless it’s my nose sometimes. Sometimes.
And then I’m going to be picking up Sunshine, the eye shadow, and applying it as blusher just a little, but I don’t want it to look too bright, you know? And then for highlighter, I am using Halo. Using my fingers to apply it on the highest points of my cheekbone. You can use a brush to blend it out and whatnot, but I’m just going to use my fingers. And then going to be applying a little bit more on the bridge of my nose and the tip of my nose. I also decided to apply just a little bit in the inner corners of my eyes.
Time for the lips. I’m going to pick up just a little bit of Coral Kisses and going to be applying it with a brush on my lip Just very subtle. I’m not going to use lip liner first. I’m going to use it after I apply the lip product, just to, like, blend with everything and make it come together.
And then to complete this look, the last thing I’m going to be doing is using my lip liner in Cake Pop and applying it on the top first and then the bottom.
So, there you have it guys. The daytime look is all finished. We’re all coral-y and spring ready. Hey. Do you like it? Yes? Alright. If you liked it, let’s move on to the night time look.
So, we’re going to go ahead and start with Fudge again for transition and base. And, again, I picked up very little. I don’t want too much on the crease just yet. We’re going to go dark later. I promise. Since this is a night out look, we’re going to go extreme. But, yeah, applying it on the crease area and then nicely blending it in.
And then, picking up Sunshine, I’m actually going to be applying this on my crease and not my lid this time. Starting from the outer corner and then moving my way in and just going ahead and blending. My crease area looks like a ray of sun. Sunshine. But, we’re going to turn that sun into darkness. It’s going to be night time.
Okay, guys, I am picking up Mermaid. I love this freaking shade so much. When I seen it, I was like, “Oh my god, this reminds me of some mermaid stuff.” Just the color. It’s so pretty and shimmery. But, yeah, I’m applying that on my lids with a flat brush. All over my lids and I’m going to be touching the crease area just a teeny bit. I’m not going to go above the line of my crease.
To really make this eye look pop out…pop out even more and intense, I went ahead and took the Fudge shade once more and I’m applying it with a thin brush in my crease area to really make it look nice and defined. I’m also using the Mermaid shade on the bottom lash line. I really want to look like a mermaid tonight. I’m a mermaid. What did you know about that? Huh? What did you know?
Okay. And then… Again…I’m… I don’t know. I don’t know. Yeah, then I’m just blending away that shade and then after I’m going to take my chameleon liner and what I’m going to do is go over that Mermaid shade and applying it all over my bottom lash line. And then I’m going to put it in my water line as well. To really make your eyes pop. No matter what I’m doing lately, I just have to have some type of wing. Like a soft wing. Something. I don’t know. Just a very subtle flick of that Chameleon on the out corners of my eyes.
But, yeah, and then applying Halo in the inner corners of my eyes to give a little glow in the inner corner. And then, of course, a little bit more of mascara.
So we are all done with the eyes. Now it is time for the lips. This time I’m starting off with lip liner and this is in Cake Pop and I’m applying it to the top of my lips again. And then this time, I’m just… I don’t know. I guess I’m working on the sides this time. I’m always doing it differently. Sometimes I start on the top, sometimes the bottom. Always different.
But, yeah, applying lip liner first and then, after that, I’m going to go ahead and pick up the Almond creamy shade. We’re going to go a little… A little, you know, a little darker. So, yeah. So again on the bottom, the flat brush. Applying it nicely.
And, of course, I got to have my bronzer. I’m going to use Sandstorm, applying it on my cheeks and on my nose. Just a little bit. Not too much. And then to finish this night time look, I’m applying a little bit more of highlighter. Going to go just a little bit heavier this time since it’s a night time look.
