Hey, guys. Koman ou yé. I’m Jasmine, and if you’re new here, thank you so much for watching. Give yourself a round of applause. Yes. For those of you who have been rocking with me for the longest time, thank you so much for coming back. I’m feeling to do something very different with my makeup look today, and so I’ve decided to use the Deck of Scarlet makeup subscription box.
This is a fairly new service, and you get something every two months. I believe they charge $29.95 every two months, as well, so you don’t got to worry about a monthly charge. And every addition palette they come out with, they collab with beauty influencers. This month, I think it’s Evon Wahab. My bad if I am butchering the name, y’all. And, by the way, every palette is cruelty-free and paraben-free, and they’re made in the United States.
I’ve already done my foundation and my brows, so we’re going to move onto eye shadow. I’m going to need y’all to come closer.
I’m using my Elf primer today because it’s an oldie but goodie. Never had any issues with this one right here. Taking Real Techniques base, shadow brush, I am just blending this primer out. I don’t feel like using my hands today.
I’m taking my base shadow brush again, and now I am going to be putting some fudge on it, putting a little bit of fudge on that. And that’s going to go in my transition area. And another good thing about this palette, by the way, is that it has a mirror. You can definitely take it with you on the go if you want to. I do have to say that the colors, so far, are pigmented. I mean, there is a bit of fallout on Fudge right now, but it ain’t nothing I can’t handle.
I’m going to take Sunshine next and I’m going to put it on the lid. I don’t know where this look is going, y’all, but just bear with me. I’m figuring it out as I go along. So, sunshine on the lids. This color ain’t so bad. It’s actually quite pigmented, and it has a bit of a satin finish. For those of you wanting to know, Deck of Scarlet ships to the U.S. and to the U.K. But, if you live in the U.S., free shipping is available.
I’m going to take the base shadow brush and just blend these two where they meet. People ask me all the time, like, how did I get to be so good at makeup. Blending. Blending for my life. You can’t go wrong with blending. Never. You can never go wrong with it. Blending is your friend.
I’m taking this green eyeliner from Deck of Scarlet, and I believe this color is Chameleon. Now, I’m going to be putting that on the lower lash line area before I apply Mermaid, because I want Mermaid to have something to stick to beforehand. You feel me? So, we’re going to be applying this, and yeah, it’s going to be just to the bottom lash line, putting it right along the lower lash line. But I’m also extending it up. Does my face really look like…? I have some technical difficulties with my nose. And I like looking up. If you’re applying anything to your lower lash line, look up. You just get a better view of everything.
Now I’m going to be taking Mermaid, which is a pretty, green color, and I’m applying that right over top the eyeliner that we did on the lower lash line. Next up, I’m taking Halo, which is a highlight color. I’m going to be putting that on the inner corners of my eye. Just looks different. It could also be because I have no lashes on.
I’m going off camera to apply the rest of my face, and then I’m coming right back.
So, I applied the rest of my makeup, including lashes and liner and highlighter and bronzer, and now I’m going to be moving onto the lips. I’m taking my NYX lip liner, and this is in espresso. I am almost done here, y’all.
Now, I’m going to be taking these. I’m going to be using both of these colors on the lips. I’m first talking Almond. Oh, I did not expect… I just took a deep dip. I took a deep dip. I didn’t expect it to be that. So, I’m taking my lip brush. Shit. And then I’m taking Coral and I’m putting it in the center. Wow. These lippies are, like, really creamy.
To finish off the look, I’m taking my setting spray. This is the Urban Decay All Nighter. I’m also going to take Halo a little bit and just apply it on the high points of my cheek as a highlight. Um, I did this earlier, but I’m thinking now will be the best time, especially after the highlight, after the setting spray sets. It’s not as popping as I would like, but it’s a nice, subtle type of highlight. It’s all right.
So, this completes the finished look. It’s very subtle, yet, you know, you pop in certain areas, which I appreciate. Hopefully, you like this video. If you did, please give me a big thumbs up.
