Hey, guys. Welcome back. Today, I’m going to be doing this very earthy makeup tutorial that’s perfect for anyone with brown or hazel eyes. I got my new Deck of Scarlet palette in the mail, and I was so excited to use it because it has beautiful colors in there. The collaboration for this Deck of Scarlet palette is actually with a girl named Evon. I’m going to overlay a picture of her right here. She’s so gorgeous, and she’s one of the YouTubers/makeup artists that I follow pretty much everywhere, because I love her stuff in general. For those of you who don’t know what Deck of Scarlet is, it’s basically a subscription service, where you get a full-sized palette every two months. Also get other products that you may need. This one came with eyeliner and a lip liner that looks like this, very sleek, beautiful packaging. It feels amazing quality. You could just tell that this was made with a lot of detail. The products are made in the USA, as well.
Here’s what the back looks like. Three colors that came in the palette. I’m going to overlay right here what the palette looks like right after I opened it, whenever it was brand new. You can see it has a first fold, which comes with three eye shadow colors, two face colors, and then, a second little smaller fold with some lip colors. So creative how they made it with two different folds, because you never want to get your eye colors into your lip colors. That would be a horrible mess. The pricing for this, for you guys that are wondering, is $29.95 every two months, which I think is an amazing deal whenever you get a full-sized palette with lip products, face products, and eye products, plus different things that you may need for the look.
For those of you that are vegan or prefer to stay cruelty-free, the palette is cruelty-free, and made in the USA. Going to be linking everything down below so you guys can check it out. Guys, just know that every single palette is in collaboration with a top YouTuber, so that’s pretty interesting. I love seeing what other YouTubers come up with. I love supporting other YouTubers, because obviously, I’m a YouTuber. Someday I would like to maybe create something like this for myself, so I will always support other YouTuber palettes. I’ve bought so many other YouTuber palettes like Jaclyn Hill and Carli Bybel. Without further ado, I’m going to get into the video. You can click down below for your Deck of Scarlet.
I’m starting this video off with my foundation and brows already done, so that we could just move forward and not make it too long. I’m going to be using my Deck of Scarlet palette. This is a palette made with Evon. The palette came with a lip liner and an eyeliner. I’m going to be using all of these for this tutorial. Let’s go ahead and get started.
First, I’m going to be taking my Morphe M511 brush, and I’m going to be buffing Sandstorm, which is literally just a transition color here, all over the crease. The thing I noticed about this palette is that it’s a full face type of palette, and I really enjoy those for traveling. I believe all of the palettes are like this. They always do the palettes that have a few lip colors, cheek colors, and eye colors. Such a beautiful contouring color. I am obsessed.
I’m going to be taking my Morphe M433, and I’m going to take the color Fudge, and I’m going to deepen up the crease. I’m focusing this more on the outer part of the eye, and then I’m going to bring it inwards. Then, I’m also going to bring it into the inner corner like so, to create a halo effect. I’m going to take the M511 brush again and just make sure everything is blended out. I’m just going to be popping that into the crease, just to warm up those browns a little bit more.
I’m going to be taking the Mermaid color here… Well, it’s called Mermaid, but it’s an emerald green, shimmery, metallic-y color, and it looks so beautiful. I’ve already played with it. It is beautiful. We’re going to pop that on. I am going to be taking some Fix Plus to wet my brushes. It’s just going to make sure that the eye shadow has its maximum intensity. A Royal & Langnickel brush. This is BX80. I’m just going to start packing that on the lid. This is such a beautiful color. That’s in place. I’m going to be taking my Morphe M433 and just very slightly blending everything. I don’t want this to look messy, so I’m using a lot of precision when blending.
Again, which is the dark brown, and just work some of that into the crease, as well. Take the eyeliner, which is called Chameleon, and I’m going to put that in the water line and the tightline. Chameleon is basically just a nice dark gray, a charcoal color. This is perfect when you want a smoky eye, but you’re scared of putting black on your eyes.
To apply eye shadow underneath the eyes, and I’m taking a little Crown brush. This is a C513 Crown Brush. It’s a little pencil brush. I’m just going to take Fudge and sludge it out all underneath the eye. The sun is going down right now, so I’m working with what I’ve got. But anyway, I’m going to be taking some eyeliner and applying a wing. Just literally going to take Blacktrack by MAC and apply that.
For mascara, I’m just applying my roller lash mascara by Benefit. This is one of my favorite mascaras. It just does such a beautiful job at coating the lashes quickly, and especially on the bottom lashes, because that’s what I really care about when it comes to mascara.
Decided that while my eyelashes are drying, I’m going to go ahead and do my lips. I’m using the lip liner in Cake Pop, which is a beautiful brown. I’m very excited about this, because you guys know I love my brown lip colors. I’m going to apply that. This is lip liner only.
Now, I’m going to take a very small little brush right here. This is one of the oval brushes from my little pink set. I’m going to take the color Almond, and I’m going to place all over my lips.
Now, I’m going to be doing the rest of my face makeup, which I did this in a really random order. I usually do my lips very last, but I don’t know what I was thinking today. I’m going to take my Baked Bronzer and just bronzer on my face with my little witch broom brush by NARS. Yes, I got to bronze my face, because I am so pale. I need to start spray tanning again.
I’m going to be contouring using the color Sandstorm in the palette. Took this little Morphe M405 brush, and I contoured my cheeks and my neck. I take my Ita brush by NARS, and I’m going to contour my nose.
Then, I’m going to take my Fix Plus and spray it all over. Oh, wait. I forgot blush. My blush. I’m taking this Be Matte Blush by City Color Cosmetics in the color Sunset Safari. Just going to take the littlest bit of that, because it’s very pigmented. Little spot right there. I hate getting pimples. It’s the worst. Now, I’m going to spray some Fix Plus. Highlighter and this palette comes with such a beautiful highlighter. It’s called Halo. Ooh, guys, look at this. It’s just so frickin’ pretty. Just make sure it’s all blended.
That was everything for this makeup tutorial. I hope that you guys like it. It’s definitely more earthy tones, perfect for those of you that have brown eyes or hazel eyes. I love greens and browns when it comes to brown eyes and hazel eyes. I don’t wear a lot of greens normally. But I do really like this emerald color eye shadow, so I definitely want to try to wear stuff like this more often.
