Welcome to my channel. My name is Domonique. I hope everyone is having a great day. I am here with a makeup tutorial. I’m so excited, because I am working with a company that I am completely falling head over heels for. This is my second time working with Deck of Scarlet. If you did not watch one of my previous videos where I did a makeup tutorial using the palette from…I believe it was January to February…I would definitely link it somewhere in this video so you could check it out.
But Deck of Scarlet is a new monthly subscription service where, basically, you pay $29.95 every other month. You get a palette for January and February. This palette right here is for March and April. Then, you would get another palette for May and June. You only pay $29.95 every other month. You can cancel when you don’t want the palette.
Or if you look at it, you don’t like the colors, you can cancel it, no cancellation fee at all. If you live in the US, and you do qualify for free shipping, which is really, really good. But if you do live in Canada or the UK, you could also purchase a palette from them, and they will ship it to you. But if you’re in the USA, you get free shipping, Boo. Okay? You best jump up on it. I’m trying to tell you, you get three eye shadows; three face colors; and you also get two different lipsticks; and you get an eye liner and a lip liner, baby. This palette right here is phenomenal. I’m not even hyping it up or anything. It is really, really good. It’s worth the money.
You cannot beat that $29.95. Colors are so pigmented. You can create multiple looks using this one palette. I’m definitely going to be using this palette to create more looks in the future. I would like to add in that every single palette is 100% cruelty-free, 100% paraben-free, and it’s made in the United States. That is definitely a plus. But I will see you guys in my next video. Thank you so much for tuning in and watching. I just love and appreciate every one of you guys. If you’re not yet subscribed, come on and join the fam. I will see you guys in my next video.
Okay, I am going to start out by applying Sandstorm. This is one of the face colors, but I’m applying this as a transition shade. As I’m applying this shade, I’m going to go in Halo. This is also another face color. I just place that on my brow bone, and I’m just going to blend it all out.
Next, I’m going to go into Fudge. This is a deeper brown. I am just going to place this all in my crease area. I’m going to bring it up a little bit further, because my eye shape is a little bit funny. I have a lot of fat and a lot of extra space in between my brows and my lid area. So I’m going to bring that color up and just make sure I blend everything out together. After blending everything out, we’re going to move onto our lid. I want to take the color Mermaid.
This is a beautiful green with sparkles. It’s so pretty. I’m going to start by putting it in the inner corner and the outer V area of my eye. Then, I’m going to connect those two areas together to make the halo effect. After making the halo effect, I’m going to move into my concealer.
The concealer that I’m using is the concealer that I use to carve out under my brow, which I didn’t show you guys, but it is the LA Girl Pro concealer. I’m just using that as a base for the eye shadow that I’m going to pop in the lid. As you can see, I’m showing you that now. But after I apply this concealer, I want to take the shade Sunshine…and this is a beautiful orange, and it has sparkles in it…and I’m just going to pack this in the middle. After packing this in the middle, I’m just going to blend everything together so everything is seamlessly blended together.
I’m going to take the color Sunshine, and I’m just going to run this on my lower lash line. You can definitely just keep this orange under here and have that under lash line popping. But it’s a little bit too much for me, so I’m going to tone it down a little bit by adding Mermaid in the outer V area of my lower lash line. I’m also going to take Halo, which is the face color. I’m just going to put that in the inner corner of my eyes just to open them up. I line my lids with the Nyx liner.
I just did a simple liner. I’m just going to apply some mascara, apply some falsies, and then we’re going to move on to finishing the eyes off. Off camera, I did apply the eye liner that came with this palette. I cannot do my eye liner on camera. It just does not work out. Next, I’m going to take Sandstorm…that is one of the face colors that came in the palette…and I’m going to use it to contour my nose. I love this color, because it gives it the shadow effect. It really doesn’t have too much color to it. It is a pale brown. It’s really, really pretty, and it’s really great for contouring.
After blending that out, I’m going to blend Halo down the bridge of my nose as a highlight. Now, I’m just taking Sandstorm, and I’m using it to contour my cheek bones out. I really love this palette, because I really use this palette to do my whole, entire face. I use it to highlight. I use it to contour.
The only thing I didn’t use it for my face was as a blush. I didn’t have a blush color, so I’m going to dip into my Morphe palettes. Other than that, I basically use this palette to complete this entire look except for foundation, of course, and things like that. After that, I’m going to move on to using the lip liner that came in this palette, as well. After that, I’m going to apply the color Almond. This is one of the creamy lipsticks that came in this palette. In the middle, I’m going to apply Coral Kisses. That’s basically all I want to do to my lips. I love these lippies because they are very glossy, very pigmented, and they do last long.
I hope you guys have enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, make sure you give me a big old thumbs up. Make sure you’re subscribed. I will see you guys in my next video.
