Hey everybody, it’s Sonjdra Deluxe and welcome back to my channel. Today, I’m doing this look that you see right here. I got my Deck of Scarlett palette today. Deck of Scarlett a makeup subscription. Every two months, you get a new palette that has all the products you need to create a [INAUDIBLE 00:00:28] little look. Each palette is collaboration with a YouTuber; I did one several months back. Deck of Scarlett is cruelty-free, paraben-free and made in the U.S.
This season’s artist-in-chief is Nazanin Kavari. Typically, I would never wear a pink eyeshadow look, but I got the palette, and I thought, “Why not?” It’s fun to get the palette and be taken out of your makeup rut; you know I’m a bronze girl.
So, this season’s palette comes with three eyeshadows, two cheek colors, two lip colors and a liquid eyeliner, which you will see me put all of those things to work. They just actually added a pick-a-palette feature, so you can pick the perfect palette to receive first. Mine, of course.
After that, they give you front row access to the latest collaborations. If you’re not feeling a palette, you can choose to skip it, feel me? If you want to subscribe, I have a coupon for you. You can use SONJDRA15 so you can get 15% off of the edition of the Deck of Scarlett palette. I will also link it in my description box. Personally, I think this palette is super cute, the packaging is adorable. I’m excited to get into it. So, if you want to see how to get the look, then stay tuned.
So, first I’m going to get into this beautiful pinky highlight color called “Yasmin,” and as you can see, I’m being taken aback by the pigmentation because it is luxurious, it is silky, and it is delicious.
Next, I’m going to go into my Montego Bay from my palette, the Sonjdra Deluxe Edition, and I’m going to snatch my nose using my Morphe flat paddle brush. This is one of my favorites to snatch my nose with, and this is a beautiful, soft bronze shade.
Next up with my Morphe M527 brush and my MAC Dark Deep Mineralize Skinfinish, I’m going to bronze up my cheeks. If you’ve seen any of my other videos, you know that this is going to happen pretty much in every video. Anyways, it’s just part of the beatdown. Contour the cheeks, go underneath the cheekbones with the color, bronze the forehead –get it popping.
Back in with Montego Bay and a blending brush, I’m going to warm up my crease… Just sort of habit, it’s what I do. This is going to help the pink go down.
Next with the color “Baby Doll” and the same brush that I snatched the nose with, I’m going to pat this pink blush color all over my eyelid.
I’m pressing it on, but I want it to be kind of soft, so I’m going back in with Sho Cute, the pink frosted color. I’m going to highlight the inner corners of my eyes and right in the center of my eyelid just a touch with my finger just to brighten it up a little bit.
Next with “Feeling Peachy,” I’m going to go underneath my browbone and pull it down towards my crease just to give a little warmth. With my color “A” from the Sonjdra Deluxe palette, I’m going to blend underneath my lash line to add a little bit of depth, and I think it goes really well with the pink, which I never do, so this is a new one for me. Pink eyeshadow, who would have thought?
Next, with the eyeliner… This is almost like a charcoal-brown kind of eyeliner color, but I really like the brush tip, it’s almost like a really fine stiff brush. It’s not a pen, it’s actually little bristles, and it’s super smooth, super pigmented, and it blends on quite pigmented, so you don’t really have to go over it, and I’m just starting out my line and then connecting it in the inner corners of my eyes, gradually getting thicker to the tip.
Next, with the eyeshadow in “Taj,” I’m going to cut up the crease just a touch…just give it a little bit more body, baby. I’m using this is in a very subtle way, not to take away from the pink too much, but to just deepen the crease a little bit. Next with my Tarte “Lights, Camera, Flash” mascara, I’m going to do a coat on the top and bottom of my lashes, wiggling back and forth to get a little bit more drama.
I’m loving this color. This is Birthday Suit. It’s like a peach color. It color corrects any of the darker shade on the outer corners of my lips, and I love a nice, soft, nude that is moisturizing for this time of year… Getting all sunburnt on my lips. Anyways, I’m going to go in with the “Dolly Me Up” lashes by Velour, and I’m going to stick those on… These are kind of like a baby doll kind of look of lashes, so I thought it would go good with the pink. I felt so crazy wearing pink, but that’s what I think is fun about getting the palettes, is it just makes you do some things you never thought you would.
So, thank you guys so much for watching and don’t forget to share, subscribe and follow, and love yourself and stay pretty, and I’ll see you guys again in the next video. Take care.
