Hey, guys. Today, I’m going to be showing you how to get this look right here. I used the Deck of Scarlet palette, which was in collaboration with Evon Wahab. This is the look that I created using the eye shadows, the cheek, and the lip colors in this palette. I’m a huge fan of Evon Wahab, so be sure to go ahead and check her out. I love her so much. I love her personality; I love her makeup skills. So, you guys, go ahead and check her out. I’m sure you already know about her, but I did want to go ahead and talk about the collaboration she did with Deck of Scarlet. Now, if you’re not familiar with Deck of Scarlet, basically, every two months you pay $29.95, and you receive a palette.
They collaborate with the top YouTubers. What you will get in your Deck of Scarlet box is a palette, which is this right here. You’ll get two lip colors, and you’ll also get three eye shadow colors and two cheek colors. And then, you’ll also get an eyeliner and a lip liner. Since every palette is actually a collaboration with a YouTuber, they are limited. It’s a special edition, something you want to get your hands on. I’m going to go ahead and jump right into the tutorial. If you’re interested in signing up for a Deck of Scarlet, I will leave their information down below.
Since I’ve done my foundation first, I’m going to go ahead and just lay down some translucent powder to catch any eye shadow fallout. The first shade we’re going to go in with is actually the bronzer in this palette, and it’s called Sandstorm. It’s a really beautiful cool tone bronzer. It’s a matte finish, and it’s very easily blendable. I’m just going to pop that into my crease and my transition. You guys, I’ve been using this bronzer every day. It’s bomb. As you can see, I’m really pulling out and extending that eye shadow. It helps to lengthen the eye. This is something that I always do.
The next color we’re dipping into is called Fudge. It’s a really beautiful, rich, deep chocolate brown. I placed that on my outer corner, but I actually ended up packing that all over the eyelids. My camera stopped recording, so you will see how that looks in a second.
Now, I’m going in with Sunshine, and I’m just placing that right above the crease. It’s really going to give a really pretty, warm look to this.
The next color we’re going into is Mermaid. It’s a really beautiful, intense green metallic shade. I did hit it with some fix plus. If you want the pigment to show up like this, then, be sure to spray it with some kind of setting spray to really make that color pop.
Next, we’re going to go in with a brush and just blend out and smooth out the edges. Next, we’re going to go into Fudge again. We’re just going to place that down in the outer corner to really deepen that up.
Next, I’m going to go ahead and grab the eyeliner in this palette. It is called Chameleon, and it’s a really gorgeous green metallic shade. I’m going to tell you guys, it took me forever to scrub it off my hand after I swatched it. Crazy long wear. Anyways, next, we’re going in with Fudge. We’re just going to run that on our lower lash line, right below where we placed Chameleon. Then, blend, honey.
Next, we’re going to pop Mermaid on that inner corner of our lower lash line, just to give it that pop of green, since we have that on our lids. I just placed on some lashes, as normal, because lashes bring everything together. I love lashes.
Next, I’m going to dip into Halo, which is the highlighter from the palette, and I’m just going to place a little bit on the inner corners. Next, we’re going to go in with Sandstorm and contour that nose, because, as always, she needs to be snatched, honey. Next, I’m grabbing my sponge. I’m just going to pounce over that nose contour to blur out those lines. Then, I’m going in with Halo. I’m adding that down the bridge of my nose and on the tip of my nose, just to give it a little bit of a lift. Next, we’re going in with Sandstorm.
We’re just going to go ahead and contour the face, because no look is complete without a little bit of contour or a lot a bit of contour. I’m just going to go ahead and add that to my cheeks, my jaw line. You guys, my favorite thing to do on my face is contour. I love eye shadow; I love eyebrows; but nothing beats contouring your face.
Now, we’re going in with the lip liner that came with the palette, and it is called Cake Pop. It’s the perfect pinky brown lip liner for any nude lip. I’m going in with one of the colors at first, but it ended up being a little bit too coral. This is called Coral Kisses. As you’ll see, it’s going to get a little bit too orangey for me. I’m just going to add Almond. Almond really gave that brown-y nude lip that I just love. I love that these two lipsticks are super creamy. You can mix them together on your hand before you apply them, which is what I should have did. But they mix flawlessly on the lips.
Then, we’re going in with Halo just above the cheeks for that glow. Add that on my nose, my chin, everywhere. Just put it everywhere, honey.
