Hey, guys. Today’s video is going to be in collaboration with Deck of Scarlet. I love working with them so much. If you were unfamiliar, Deck of Scarlet is a makeup subscription, where every two months you get a new makeup palette with all the products you need for a full face of makeup. You get this for the low cost of $29.95. The coolest part of these palettes is that each one is in collaboration with a top YouTuber. This month’s is NazaninKavari.
I’ll have her name here and then her channel linked down below. She is so stunning. You get to play along with your favorite YouTubers and learn how to recreate their looks. In this month’s box, you get a dark brown liquid eyeliner, which I thought was really cool. Then also, of course, I’ll show you guys the palette. How cool is even this sleeve? This packaging is so amazing. It’s just so pretty. Inside you always get three eyeshadows and two face products. This month, you get a highlighter, and a powder blush, and then two cream lip products. The formulas are so creamy, and really blendable, and pigmented, and just really easy to work with. I love every time that I get a new one of those. If you guys would like to see how to create this look, please keep watching.
I’m going to start out with the shade Feeling Peachy, which is a neutral peach with just a little bit of gold shimmer. Not too shimmery, perfect for the crease.Even if you wanted to work this color into there, it’s not going to be too shimmer overload.Just going to buff this into the crease to give me that nice peachy look. I’m also sweeping this color under my lower lash line and connecting it to the crease color.
Now, I’m taking Taj, which is a really pretty neutral taupe shade. It’s matte, perfect crease color, really good for shadows, etc., and I’m going to do just that. I want this look to be really soft and feminine. I’m not using it too heavy handedly. I’m going to try to create a little bit of a crease with my really hooded eyes, and blend this into the peachy shade, which is going to create a little bit more warmth. I just love the way it came out. That’s what we got going on here.
Now, to create that really wet-looking, shimmery lid, I’m going to be using the Stila liquid eye shadows. They have a longer name. I’ll list it down below. This is the shade Rose Gold Retro, such a stunning color. I’ve been wanting to use this for the longest time. I purchased all of them. I’ve only used one in a tutorial, I believe. This color just looks so nice. I love it. How pretty is that? I thought this would be a perfect addition to an eye look using this palette, just because it has those pinky peach shades. If you guys have these, let me know what you think. I think they’re the easiest liquid eye shadow glitter product to use ever. I’m just taking a little detail brush and blending that outer edge of the liquid eye shadow in this outer corner, just to soften that transition from glitter to matte.
Now, I’m going in with Yasmin, which is a really pretty radiant highlighter in the palette. I’m just going to be lightly highlighting the inner corner of my eye. Then I’m going to line my water line with this Makeup Geek Nude liner. I love this one for the water line. It’s really pigmented. Then I’m just finishing off my lower lashes with a quick coat of mascara. This is the Benefit Roller Lash.
Now, I’m going to take the brown liquid liner from the palette and just lightly line my eyes. I’m not doing a wing or anything, but of course, you’re welcome to. That would look beautiful, as well, if that’s your preference. For me, I wanted to keep it a little bit more low-key.
Now, I’m going into the blush shade Baby Doll, which is a really intense pink, really pretty, and created a nice natural blush. I love it. You can see it here. So pigmented and easy to work with. Then I’m applying that highlighter Yasmin again to the tops of my cheekbones and actually, all over my face. You guys will see me in a second. It surprised me how glowy it was, because it has such a natural texture. I was really pleasantly surprised with this highlighter. So pretty. I really love these shadows. They’re so nice. Oh, another aspect of them that I forgot to mention earlier is that they are cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made in the USA.
Now, I’m going into the shade Birthday Suit, which is one of the lip colors. I’m sheering it out with my finger. It’s such a pretty, neutral, light brown color. It’s such a pretty nude, especially if you have deeper skin. I wanted it to be more on the light side to suit this really soft look, so, that’s how I did that.I didn’t think my lash extensions were cutting it, so, I added falsies. I’ll link these down below.
