Day To Night Makeup by Bella Fiori
The gorgeous You Tuber Bella Fiori created a Day To Night Makeup tutorial using Deck of Scarlet BabsBeauty No.02 palette. In order to recreate the look, watch the video, read the transcript of the video and follow the step by step images:
Hey, guys! It’s Bella, and welcome back to my channel. In today’s video, I am going to be doing a day to nighttime look. So, in this video, we start off by doing pretty much an everyday makeup look that is super simple, easy, and natural for everyday wear. Maybe you have to run some errands, and then you’re also going out that night, so you don’t have a lot of time to redo your makeup. Or maybe you’re just too lazy to redo your makeup. So, after that everyday makeup, we are not going to take it off, we are just going to make it more dramatic for the night time.
So, today’s video actually is sponsored, and it’s sponsored by Deck of Scarlet. And they are a makeup subscription service, so every two months, you get one of these little boxes here. And it has a whole bunch of goodies in it, and they actually cost less than one product you would get at Sephora and you get…ooh…quite a few products in here.
So, I’ll show you guys what you get inside. You open it up and you have a few little letters in here. And then this is the palette, and a lip chubby, which is like a lipstick…lip pencil. It reminds me of like, a Lippie Stix from ColourPop, is how I would describe it.
So, this is the palette. You take the palette out, and you get two lip colors, and three eyeshadows, one highlighter, and one blush, as well as the libby…lip…lippie…the Chubby lip. The thing that I love about this is it’s so easy to travel with because it’s so thin, and you get a highlighter, a blush, three eyeshadows, three lip colors.
So, I’m going to start off by taking the shade of Peachy Keen on a ZOEVA 234 Luxe Smokey Shader. And I’m going to blend this all over the eyelid. And this shade is just going to give a really nice, very subtle, peachy glow to the eye.
The next shade I’m going to take is Making Mauves. And I’m going to use a 226 sponge brush from ZOEVA, and I’m just going to smudge this onto the lash line. See how much this gives the eyes a really nice bit of definition? Now, I’m just taking a Morphe M431 brush to smudge this out a bit more, just blend it out. And then taking just a little bit of Sophia for the lower lash line.
Now I’m going to go in with my ColourPop Creme Gel liner in the shade Swerve, this is just a black. And I’m going to use this to tight line my eyes, and I’m also going to put it in my water line. And for mascara, I’m using my Urban Decay Perversion mascara.
Now, I’m going to go ahead and add some of this blush here. This is called Bobdy. So, I’m just taking Iconic London brush. They don’t have names. And it’s pigmented, so I’m just like…the…the blush is pretty pigmented, as you guys can see. It picks up a lot of product. So, I just kind of tap it off on the back of my hand before applying it, because this is a daytime look and I don’t want to go too intense on the blush. See, even after brushing it off, it’s so pigmented.
And I’m just going to use the highlighter from the palette, which is called Gilded. I’m just using a Morphe R36 brush to apply the highlighter. And then with my Hourglass No. 6 brush, I’m just going to add some of this highlighter to the inner corner, as well.
I’m now just going to pick up the lip shade, which is in the shade Plump. The lip shades are super creamy, so I just apply a little bit, and then blend it out with my finger.
Okay, so that is the completed day look. It’s very simple, very great for every day wear. So now, I’m just going to go ahead and get into to the more dramatic nighttime look.
So, basically, what I’m going to do is, I’m not going to take any of this makeup off. We’re just going to like… It’s kind of like, for an on-the-go thing. So, say you have a few errands to run during the day, and you just want to look super simple and natural, but then you have stuff to do at night, and you don’t have time to redo your makeup and you just kind of want to make it more dramatic. That’s what I’m going to be doing now, so I’m just going to be intensifying the makeup that I’m already wearing.
So, what I’m going to do is I’m going to take Sophia, and I’m going to be using a 234 Luxe Smokey Shader brush from ZOEVA, and just applying this all over my eyelid. And you really want to make sure that you tap off the brush before applying it so that you don’t get any fallout. Then I’m just going to pick up a little blending brush. This is the Morphe M514. And I’m just going to use this to buff out the edges.
We’re going to want to add some false lashes as well, so I have these ones here. They are from House of Lashes. I’m not sure what style they are, because they are not Iconic Lites, but they are in a box that says Iconic Lites.
I’m just going to add a bit more bronzer to intensify the look as well. I have the Jouer bronzer. This is in the shade Sunswept.
Then for my lips, I’m going to add a little bit of this on-stroke graphic lip crayon. This is in the shade Mia. And now, I’m just going to add a little bit of this because it’s really, really pigmented. Going to add a little bit of Brownie to the outer. And then I’m going back in with Plump, again. And that is the completed nighttime look.
I totally forgot to film an outro, and I already took my makeup off, so don’t mind me. But, I just wanted to thank you guys so much for watching today’s video.
